Jesus, the Beginning
Beginning. What is it literally?
As an example, the first line in this post.
It could also be the first thought you have when you wake up in the morning.
It can also be the day of your birth. Or, the day of one’s conception. The first seed planted.
Beginning.
The word implies an end, but we’re not there, yet. Though you could stop reading here, and that would be this blog’s end for you. Yet it would not be for another who continues reading.
Jesus also said that He is the End. King Solomon said “an end of a thing is better than it’s beginning.”
That’s probably because we enjoy rest more than work!
In any case,
Life asks; “When will you begin building the habit of taking deep breaths more often?”
Love asks; “How do I start this letter?”
Light asks; “Who or what is the beginning anyway!?”
Liberty asks; “What do you want Me to do for you?”
This last one is fresh on my mind from a recent sermon I heard.
Jesus asked two blind men that question. He wanted to set them free from darkness by restoring their sight. And He did so.
Jesus was the Beginning of sight in the stories of those two men.
What Beginning will He be for you?
