“The tongue of the Just is as choice silver…” - Solomon

The Choice Voice of Life, Love, Light, and Liberty

The online world of media has become a part of normal waking life. So now what?

The Scriptures of Old, the physical Bible of the old world media, is the most ancient and simultaneously comprehensive work of literature that the world has ever known.

As knowledge has increased, technological development has rapidly accelerated. Where does that leave us?

How can we live in the fastest moving time in history? How can we organize all the data that is flowing in and out of our mental space? How can we settle on a choice when there’s a multitude of voices flowing in and out of our head space?

What if the answer is found in the very first “media” written on stones?

Moses recounts the story which, if our ears are open, is really our story too —

“And the LORD said to Moses, ‘Cut two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke.’ ” Exodus 34:1

What were those words?

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage—You shall have no other gods before me.” (In the Hebrew, ‘other gods before me’ is literally translated: unknown gods presence.)

(From this we may ask, does the Creator desire freedom or slavery?)

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of that in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, a jealous God, visting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”

(From this we may ask, does the Creator desire friendship or robots?)

“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”
(From this we may ask, does the Creator desire authenticity or theatrical performance?)

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. You shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”
(From this we may ask, does the Creator desire life and creation or death and destruction?)

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”

(Can we choose voluntary, affectionate, and thoughtful submission to proper family relations and respect for legitimate civil and religious authorities?)

“You shall not kill.”

(Can we choose Life and Health? Cherishing those things which increase the valuing of human life, and learning about principles of health and how to care for the body temple.)

“You shall not commit adultery.”

(Can we choose Chastity and Purity? Cultivating a pure atmosphere within the soul temple. Understanding and avoiding the triggers that lead to sensuality and inward corruption.)

“You shall not steal.”

(Can we choose Integrity and Industriousness? Creating value and learning a skill that can be helpful to others.)

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

(Can we choose the Faithful and True Witness? Holding fast to what is true and leting go of the lies that leads away from holiness of body, mind, and spirit. Is the best way to dispel darkness the diffusing of light?)

“You shall not covet your neighbors house; You shall not covet your neighbors wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
(Can we choose Contentment and Peace? Does the True Shepherd open one’s eyes to all that they have through Him? Though the Earth and Heaven’s pass, will the treasure Who is the Creator Himself pass away?)

Do choices send a message?

By revealing these choices to us, is God simultaneously giving us a voice in this soon to close Cosmic Spiritual War?

What if He is love and desires voluntary worship and service?

Our media medium, technological capacities, human inventions and devices have changed. But what if the Everlasting God has never changed?

Would there be a way to live successfully in the world, perhaps not according to changing human standards, but according to the Creator’s eternal plan? To live a life that He smiles upon?

Do you want contentment, peace, and rest?
Do you want to be true, honest, and trustworthy?
Do you want to help and give to others?
Do you want to be clean on the inside?
Do you want to be a healer and lifegiver?

If so,
the Lamb is calling you and me.
