If someone is running out of time, how might becoming acquainted with the invisible extend it?
What does seeing the invisible enable you to do?
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. — Paul, Hebrews 11:27 KJV
What is invisible?
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. — Paul, 2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV
What is not invisible?
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. — Paul, Hebrews 11:3 KJV
How are invisible realities seen?
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: — Paul, Romans 1:20 KJV
Visible creation comes from the Invisible Creator, not the other way around. The visible is not the cause in terms of creation, but the effect. The invisible is the first cause.
What is a signal of the invisible wind?
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. — Jesus, John 3:8 KJV
Can what is invisible be accessed, and how?
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: — Peter, 1 Peter 1:8 KJV
We do not see air or wind or breath, yet we do see it. How? through the tree, the creature, or the medium that it moves. So the invisible God is seen and known through Him who became flesh and dwelt among us. And He who we do not now see, being risen from the dead and ascended into the third heaven, we see and know through His body, the true church, and His Holy Book, the Bible.
How do believers see other humans?
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. — Paul, 2 Corinthians 5:16
Believers see spirits (that is, breaths) and not race or flesh. Their attention is on the animating principle behind a person, not their skin color.
What was the original way of seeing human life?
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. — Moses, Genesis 2:7 KJV
How does Luke summarize Saul/Paul’s life breath at a certain point?
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, — Luke, Acts 9:1 KJV
Humans are vessels of the breath of life, which is a system God designed. The power of the enemy is to distort some point in the system, particularly the human part of the system, by distorting his vision, and thus ruining his entire perception and interpretation of the whole. This leads to the breathing of “threats and murders” rather than the pure breathing which is “of life”.
What gives life and activity, and what doesn’t?
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. [64] But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. — Jesus, John 6:63-64 KJV
The spoken words of the Savior were so perfect and in harmony with the system of God’s appointment, that they were called “spirit”, that is, “breath”. In other words, His words were as the breath of life itself, having no death in them. They are perceived as invisible nonsense to unbelievers however.
What is everlasting life, and what does it have power over?
And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. — Jesus, John 12:50 KJV
As thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him. [3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. — Jesus, John 17:2-3
How is persecution explained and understood?
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. — Paul, Galatians 4:29 KJV
Who does not have eternal life?
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. — John, 1 John 3:15 KJV
Who is Himself eternal life?
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. — John, 1 John 5:20 KJV
Spiritually, how many fathers are there, and how are their children identified?
John 8:42-51 KJVS
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent Me. [43] Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word. [44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. [45] And because I tell you the truth, ye believe Me not. [46] Which of you convinceth Me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe Me? [47] He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. [48] Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? [49] Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour My Father, and ye do dishonour Me. [50] And I seek not Mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. [51] Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep My saying, he shall never see death. — Jesus, John 8:42-51 KJV
His speech came from the invisible “word of life”. There is no death in His speech. Only by contrast is there death, that is, by the rejecting of His Words of life, death is all that remains.
What is another title of Jesus?
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; —John, 1 John 1:1 KJV
The Words of Christ can extend your life because He Himself is the Word of Life.
What is the result of hearing, receiving, and believing Jesus?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. [25] Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. [26] For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; — Jesus, John 5:24-26 KJV
Who is the Son of God?
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. — Paul, Hebrews 4:14 KJV
How is the invisible life with God recognized?
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. — John, 1 John 4:15 KJV
What is the final consequence of believing that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 John 5:5 KJV
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? — John, 1 John 5:5 KJV
What only alternative does Scripture history offer?
John 19:15 KJV
But they cried out, Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. — John, John 19:15 KJV
